    High-current ELCON Drawer Series
    for blind-mate docking

    The Tyco Electronics' ELCON Drawer Series are two-piece connectors designed for a wide variety of blind-mate docking applications. The connectors mix a variety of power and signal contacts in one robust housing. The housing has either molded-in or optional guide-pins for smooth blind-mate applications. The Drawer Series connectors incorporate Tyco Electronics' ELCON CROWN BAND contacts for high-current density. Additional features of the CROWN BAND contacts include hot pluggability, sequenced mating, probe-proof contacts, and support for various termination styles, including crimp for cable, solder tail and compliant press-fit for mounting to PCB, and internal/external threads for bus bar connection.

    • True hot plug contacts support current interruption as defined by UL 1977

    Applications for this Series include servers, routers, data storage devices, low-noise power supplies, "live" hot plug power supplies and more.
